Daybook

Outside my window: With a high of 44 degrees, all the snow has melted and there is mud as far as the eye can see.

I am listening to: my ipod as often as I can to drown out Firecracker who throws fits all day long lately.

I am reading: Pride and Prejudice on the ipod with my Amazon Kindel ap

I am pondering: Why the abortion clinics are full and how disposable children are in our society. Why little children have to die. Why those who want to have children-can’t and those strung out on drugs are able to have babies born with addictions. Why in America you are the minority if you speak English. Why feds can go into schools to remove children who have illegal parents or are illegal immigrants themselves…..this list goes on and on……I find the world to be extremely depressing!

I am wearing: A gray tee-shirt, flannel pj bottoms with my hair in a messy bun.

In my kitchen: Toast, eggs and coffee

I am creating: A list for the costumes I am in charge of for the Little Mermaid Ballet. It’s time to get very creative!

I am thankful for: sleeping pills at night and fresh sheets.

In my garden: Compost and mud.

A Round the House: I found the master bedroom and bath, now for the rest of the house.

Plans for the New Week: Continuing to stay on top of school- made great progress this past week and feeling the burn- out lifting.

Hoping and praying: Still Praying for little Christopher as his battle with cancer is ending. We are praying for his family in this most difficult time of their life as they say goodbye to their child that God has blessed them with for four short years. Please pray with me.

Living the Liturgy: We were blessed to have the vocation crucifix this past week and loved being able to focus on religious life through prayer.

I am listing on my ipod: Lots of Pandora and the new Faith and Life pod cast. Found a new ap called the WEEMEE and Love it. You can make a cartoon avatar for your contacts, Facebook or just for fun. It is a new addiction for the entire family. The down side besides being totally addicting, is you have to purchase all the add-on.

Rhyme and Beauty: I need a lot of inspiring words on this right now. I know I will find comfort and inspirations in my favorite blog: In the Heart of My Home…..Thank you Elizabeth Foss!

Living Education: Starting our Geography scrapbooks this week…....I hope.

I am thinking: I am thinking so much that it actually hurts to do so. Longing for the time when stillness and quietness will fill the space of thoughts. I am thinking I need to see the blessings in the most redundant parts of my life, for one day the chaos will be gone and my house will be terrible empty and ever so lonely. (Yes, this is from last week, but very fitting in my life still)

One of my favorite things: Wingers double shoot caramel macchiato- a special treat yesterday on my way to the dance committee meeting.
