At the Lake

Here are some photos of our visit to the lake. I noticed that we unfortunately did not take one single picture of C. He spent the entire time swimming and only came to shore once for our picnic lunch. I know we all enjoyed the day and look forward to returning to the lake soon!

July 4th

We had a wonderful 4th of July. The children spent the day playing in the little pool in the back yard and enjoying the abundant sunshine. We had dinner with our friends at the neighbor’s house. C was in charge of the camera for the potluck and we only ended up with two pictures. I think he was busy eating and forgot what his job was! After dinner we headed off too the soccer field to enjoy the fireworks with Chief and the misses and grandbabies. This time I was the one who forgot to take the pictures! Our other children spent the weekend at the river boating and BBQing.

Captain turns 11!

June 27th
C is celebrating his 11th birthday. I am always amazed just how fast time flies each time we have a birthday in our family. It truly seems like yesterday that C was born at home into our loving arms!

We had a piñata at his party and what a blast it was to see every child take a whack at it. We did not have a stick, so we improvised with a Star Wars life saber.

A red Ipod Nano! This kids is spoiled!This is a combination gift for being a straight “A” student, helping out around the house with out complaining, doing volunteer work in the community and just being an all around great son. The inscription on his ipod states how proud we are of him!
